IT Agent POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Operating since July 2011, EFC TANZANIA M.F.C LIMITED provides financial services to micro, small and medium size enterprises (MSMEs) and is the first deposit taking microfinance institution to be licenced and regulated under the Bank of Tanzania’s Microfinance Company Charter.

The purpose of the Entrepreneurs Financial Centre (EFC) is to provide increased access to specialized financial services for entrepreneurs while contributing to wealth creation, improvement of living conditions and development of the Tanzanian private sector. Owned by international and local investors, EFC Tanzania is distinctive in its emphasis on local development through a collective ownership scheme.

POSITIONS:
EFC Tanzania through its expansion program and in an effort to serve its clientele better, is looking to fill the following position in Dar es Salaam:

1. IT Agent
Qualifications & Profile:
Applicants should have financial services experience with the following general profile:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science, preferably in system engineering;
• Minimum of two years related experience;
• Knowledge in database programming such as MSQL;
• In depth technical knowledge of PC Hardware;
• Strong people/relationship skills with a customer service and teamwork orientation.
• Action and results oriented with good time management and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Kiswahili.

Duties and Responsibilities include;
• Installing and Configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications;
• Monitoring and Maintaining computer system and networks;
• Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware and software faults;
• Replacing parts as required;
• Providing support, including procedural documentations;
• Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system;
• Supporting the roll-out of new applications;
• Set up new user accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues;
• Working continuously on a task until completion
• Ensuring the security of the server, data and software.

Duties and Responsibilities 
Follow up with the area customer
Reaching out to new customer and making presentations outlining the benefits of product/ services.
Manage full process of the sales from cold calling, presenting, negotiating and closing deals. 
Regularly visit customers to ensure sustenance of a good relationship. 
Giving marketing requirement feedback to the management  

The following reports must be prepared and submitted to the sales manager 
Daily sales customer visits report  
Monthly sales report form showing customer visited in the month, order awarded in the whole month follow month sales focus and strategy. 
Prepare the weekly report showing the progress made with potential and existing clients 
Qualification 
Those with Diploma in marketing from a recognized institution will have an advantage 
Fresh graduate
Applicants with professional qualifications in other business disciplines and adequate direct selling experience will also be considered.  
Excellent Communication skills(English & swahil).  
Must be self driven and able to meet deadlines

MAINTENANCE PLANNER (Re-advertisement)

Acacia Mining seeks to appoint a dedicated, self motivated and highly organized process Plant Operators; Stakeholders Engagement & Communications Officer and Light Vehicle Mechanics for its Buzwagi Gold Mine. Below are the details for the openings

JOB TITLE: MAINTENANCE PLANNER (Re-advertisement)
Reporting Line: Reliability Section Leader  
Rotational Status: 6 weeks on 3 week off
Location: Buzwagi Gold Mine; Kahama District, Shinyanga Region 

KEY RESULT AREAS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 
•    Ensure resources are available for the execution of maintenance and project work 
•    Ensure correct procedures are followed and liaise with contract service in conjuction with purchasing and supply chain personnel, plan and control inventory levels and ensure the availability of working tools and materials 
•    Ensure tasks are properly planned and requirements effectively communicated to the construction and maintenance teams 
•    Assist in the management of costs 
•    Prepare KPI reports for both maintenance Section Leader as required 
•    Be pro-active in all aspects of operational safety, efficient utilization of resources, continuous improvement initiatives and encourage teamwork across the departments 
•    Any other duties that may be assigned to fulfill the overall business objectives 
•    Participate effectively in succession planning within the Mining Team to ensure progressive development of other employed to assume positions on increasing accountability 
•    Conduct work in accordance with company policy in relation to work practices 

PROFESSIONAL AND INTERPERSONAL DETAILS 
Education 
•     Degree in an Engineering discipline or trade qualifications with extensive industry experience 

Experience and Skills 
•     A minimum of 4 years’ experience in construction or maintenance works ideally with exposure to civil and electrical works 
•    Construction Project Management 
•    Maintenance Planning 
•    Computer skills and Knowledge in Maintenance and Planning software ideally Microsoft Project, MS, Office, AutoCAD (or other drafting package) and experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management Systems are essential 
•    Procurement processes 
•    Estimation of quantities 
•    Services and repair outside facilities which include sewer system, water supply, electrical system and variety of services operation machines 
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both Kiswahili and English

•    Ability to interpret work plans and effectively communicates targets and goals 
•    Well organized and a strict adherence to company procedures 
•    A high level of personal integrity
•    Hold a current Tanzanian driving license
