Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) is a National Oil Company established in 1969 with a mandate to undertake petroleum development in a selected petroleum potential areas throughout the country, including the continental shelf of Tanzania.
In line with such mandate TPDC has formed subsidiary companies namely Gas Supply Company Limited (GASCO) and Commercial Petroleum (COPEC) to perform various tasks. The main roles of the established subsidiaries are: GASCO is responsible for the management of natural gas processing plants, natural gas transmission pipeline, natural gas distribution networks and gas aggregation; COPEC is responsible for managing the National Strategic Petroleum
Reserves and downstream operations as deemed fit for long term benefits of the nation.
To effectively manage the above responsibilities, TPDC is looking for experienced, dynamic, energetic, visionary and qualified candidates to fill senior positions within the Corporation and its subsidiaries.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
The Head of Health, Safety and Risk Management unit shall be the principal advisor of the General Manager on all matters concerning health, safety and risk management in the Company.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists and supports the General Manager in carrying out health, safety and risk management polices in the Company as specified by the Board;
Reviews the designs and implementation of health, safety and risk management plans and programs in the Company;
Implements a set of health, safety and risk metrics and reports, including losses and incidents, key health, safety and risk exposures and early warning indicators;
Reviews policies and strategies for health, safety and risk management;
Reviews health, safety and risk reports;
Improves the Company's health, safety and risk management readiness through communication and training programs;
Ensures that the Company is in substantial compliance with its internal operating policies and procedures and any legal, regulatory or contractual requirements; and
Performs any other duties as may be assigned by superiors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Holder of a Master Degree in Health/Safety/Risk Management or equivalent Qualification from a recognized institution;
WORKING EXPERIENCE
At least 10 years working experience from a recognized Organization, of which 3 years must be at senior level. Proven high administrative and managerial ability in the oil and gas industry is essential.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
The terms of employment for General Manager GASCO and General Manager COPEC, shall be contractual for a term of 5 years,
renewable upon satisfactory performance.
The terms of employment shall be unspecified term contract for the post other than General Managers.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
The Manager - Distribution, Logistics and Operation shall assist the General Manager in daily distribution logistic and operations activities of petroleum products.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that distribution, logistics and operations of petroleum products is well managed;
Implement Policies, Procedures and Methodology to improve cost effectiveness and integrity within the supply chain.
Prepare product demand forecast based on historical sales to determine product order quantities;
Manage the supply chain process flow in terms of import documentation from the supply source to the host depot;
Monitors processes involved in the supply chain by liaising with parties such as EWURA, TPA, Shipping Agents, TRA together with products
suppliers;
Coordinate transit business processes and ensure proper TRA documentation and timely bond cancellation;
Acquire new business and prepare project proposal for technical action;
Supervise Marketing Representatives, through planning and implementing sales, customer relations, and sales team development programs;
Identify and evaluate current and new customer potentials, prioritizing opportunities for closure;
Set out database for local market prices of white products;
Monitor the effective and efficient operation of petroleum products network distribution system;
Draw and manage transporter's contracts and all fuel hospitality agreements with other oil companies;
Monitor stock position and produce daily reports and as when required and
Undertake any other duties as may be assigned by superiors

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Holder of Degree in Business Administration or Procurement or Chemical and Process Engineering or any other relevant field. Experience in managing the fuel supply chain process and knowledge of software application for petroleum operations will be an added advantage.

Pharmacy Council is a body corporate established under the Pharmacy Act Cap. 311 responsible for regulation of pharmacy practices including issuance of licenses and permits to pharmacy businesses in Tanzania. The Council has the following vacancies for which suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply.

System Administrator

Reports to :Registrar

Overall Responsibility
The System Administrator reports to the Registrar and shall be responsible to assist the Council on issues related to information communication and technology.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution with minimum of three (3) years working experience.

Knowledge and experience on working with Management Information Systems,
Understanding of JAVA/C++/PHP programming language and MS SOL will' be an added an advantage.
Extensive experience with network technologies, including local-area network (LAN) protocols, wide-area network (WAN) protocols, IP routing, DHCp, DNS, Active Directory, TFTP, and WINS.
Significant experience with server technologies, including MS Windows based,
VM Ware and server operating systems - MS Windows Server 2003, MS
Windows Server 2008/R2, MS Windows Server 2012.

Duties and Responsibilities
Administering database and network;
Documenting present technical procedures, operating method and new systems
Scheduling, upgrading and securing backups of hardware, database and
software systems;
Monitoring and testing backup procedures;
Installing, supporting and maintaining existing and new hardware and software
infrastructure for computer systems and networks;
Researching and installing new systems, and ensuring that all ICT equipment
comply with industrial standards;
Implementing software licensing laws and advising where necessary; _
Implementing and monitoring data and network security from internal and
external attacks;
Managing the institution website;
Monitoring uses of resources by the staff, including use of intranet, websites
and e-mails;
Ensuring the smooth running of ICT systems including anti-virus software,
printing services and e-mail provision;
Ensuring secure access to networked remote users;
Proper handling of all classified information he/she has access to, and refraining
from divulging the same to unauthorized persons;
Keeps the inventory of all equipment, maintains network documentation, and
provides desktop support
Participating in the preparation of departmental annual budget and plans;
Prepares and submit periodic reports; and
Performs any other duties assigned by the Registrar.
