Requirements for Appointment
The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications and experience:-
i. University Degree/ Advanced Diploma majoring in Accounting or Finance from a recognized higher learning institution.
ii. Certified Public Accountant, CPA (T) or ACCA/CIMA.
iii. Knowledge and competency in Information and communication Technology (ICT) application, and familiarity with any one of the accounting software.
iv. A Strong background of international Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and good knowledge of public Sector Accounting and Reporting Principles.
v. Not less than 3 years working experience in the relevant fields

Not above 45 years of age

THE REGIONAL MANAGER, TANROADS - NJOMBE is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Tanzania Mainland's trunk and Regional roads network. Its primary functions include the management and development works, operations of the network and axle load control-the implementation of road safety and environmental measures, provision of advice on the strategic framework, policies and plans for the road sector.

The Regional Manager - TAN ROADS Njombe on behalf of the Chief Executive TAN ROADS is looking for open minded and creative candidates who are motivated to work within a modern and dynamic organization. TAN ROADS encourages applications from both men and women to fill the following positions on contract basis at the Regional Manager's office Njombe.

SCOPE OF POSITIONS

These positions are within Njombe Region, successful candidates must be ready to work independently, all days of the week including Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays and with high pressure of work. They should be prepared to work for considerable lengths of time

1. POSITION: Cashier (2 POST)

POSITION RELATIONSHIP
The successful candidates will report to the Head of Accounts and Administration.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Record properly all required weighbridge accounting information
Ensure that all necessary accounting forms at the weighbridge station are properly filled and kept.
Provide reports on axle loading accounting procedures which may be required
Take care of weigh bridge accountable documents.
Co-operate with the relevant parties involved in the axle control operations
Implement directives relating to axle load control from the high authority and station supervisor.
To receive money and issue receipts to defaulters
Ensure that all receipts are timely recorded and banked.
Maintain accurate records of receipts received/issued
Arranges the prompt payment of utility and other invoices related to the day to day running of the office.
Maintain defaulters register
Performs any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by his/her superior
Reporting all matters to the shift in Charge/ Axle':Load control supervisor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS FOR CASHIER

Holder of Ordinary Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent from recognized institution. '
Holder of computer certificate and have working knowledge of software applications like Microsoft Word,
Excel, Internet and other necessary computer experiences,
Must be fluent in both English and Kiswahili languages.
He/She must pass the Agency's competitive entry interview
Minimum educational qualifications: Ordinary Secondary/Advanced Secondary School Education.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 MONTHS CONTRACT RENEWABLE

REMUNERATION: ACCORDING TO TAN ROADS SALARY SCALE: TRS 3.1

The Fraud Investigation Officer will report to the Head of Internal Audit and perform the following duties and responsibilities:

Develops and carries out comprehensive practical programs and schedules for proactive and reactive fraud investigations. '
Coordinate the implementation of ethics programs
Assists to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of management controls.
Assists to determine areas of risk and appraise their significance in relation to operational control.

Reviews and recommends the purpose, scope and approach for each fraud investigation project.

Qualifications and Experience:
Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB), Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or its equivalent qualification.
