Mwalimu Julius K. Nyerere University of Agriculture and Technology (MJNUAT) is a newly established public University that has its headquarters in Butiama and operating from other five campuses in Mara Region. MJNUAT, which is an equal opportunity institution, is inviting applications to fill the positions of academic and administrative staff as indicated below:

[B] ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS

Chief Internal Auditor (1 Post):

Qualifications:
Registered Authorized Accountant and Certified Public Accountant who is a holder of Master/PhD Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration and CPA/ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CIA qualification.
He/she must have at least twelve years work experience; with at least five years of which must be at a senior management position and must possess a strong background of International
Financial Reporting and Auditing Standards, with advanced knowledge of Integrated Financial Management Systems and Computer Aided
Audit Techniques (CAATs). The candidate will serve as the Head of the Audit Unit.

Terms of Employment:
Successful applicants for the position of Tutorial Assistant will be employed on Permanent and Pensionable Terms for those with ages equal or less than 35 years, whereas for all other cadres the age limit shall be 45 years, Successful applicants with ages above 45 years will be engaged on contractual terms in line with the public service regulations. All newly recruited staff will work under probation for one year and their appointment will be confirmed upon satisfactory work performance during the 12months- probation period. The services for those with unsatisfactory performance shall be terminated by the end the probation period in accordance with Government's Standing Orders.

Remuneration
Attractive remuneration packages will be offered to successful applicants in line with the MJNUAT Scheme of Service for Administrative Staff and Harmonized Scheme of Service for Academic Staff in Public Universities and Constituent Colleges
