Mbeya University of Science and Technology invites applications from suitably and competent persons to fill vacancies that exist in the Academic Departments of the University.

Games Tutor II (1 POST)

QUALIFICATION AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
Holder of Bachelor degree in Physical Education and Sports and any other relevant field.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaches physical education at elementary stage
Takes charge of playing grounds, courts, equipment and facilities.
Coaches games and sports
Supervises ball, track, field games and recreation
Promotes sports programs and games for both staff and students
Conducts workshops and symposia on sports and games to the University community
Advises on infrastructure needs for games and sports
Advises on purchases of sports gear and any other sports equipment
Performs any other related duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

SALARY SCALE: PGSS 8

Presentation of forged academic certificates and other information in the CV will necessitate legal action.
Applicants who have/were retired from the Public Service for whatever reason should not apply.
Applicants should indicate three reputable referees with their reliable contacts.
Certificates from foreign Universities should be verified by Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).
Women are highly encouraged to apply.
