Job Title/ Position CAD Engineers
Department Technical Services (Plant)
Reports To Team Lead, Drawing & Documentation
Direct Reports/ Subordinates Department Head
Job Grade Level To be determined pending outcome of job evaluation exercise
Job Summary
• Preparing routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches & diagrams.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Carry out Computer-Aided Design (CAD) plant and process design and maintain associated CAD data.
• Assist in designing and drawing up new equipment according to the defined specifications
• Create and revise production drawings (detail and assembly drawings).
• Responsible for setting up and maintaining an organized file system for Production Drawings.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Team Lead, Drawing & Documentation.
Key Requirements
Education and Work Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Engineering or any relevant Science discipline, Minimum 2years Experience.
Skills and Competencies
• Good knowledge of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislations relating to the cement manufacturing industry.
• Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with Engineering terminology
• Working knowledge of CAD equipment.
• Basic knowledge of mechanicals systems
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good problem analysis and solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
