Description
We are looking for a Regional Education Specialist to support the
Regional Team Leader and other technical leader specialists in
facilitating, co-ordinating and supporting key stakeholders to improve
planning, delivery and monitoring of education at community, school,
district and regional levels.
You will be responsible for supporting the development of capacity building activities and regional training of partners, ensuring technical information is shared effectively, preparing background information and data for design of the programme and contributing to the writing of various reports, articles and other forms of communication.
You will be degree qualified or equivalent in education, development or a related field and your experience will include education reform, teacher training, literacy and community mobilisation in the international development sector.
You will have proven ability in maintaining and building relationships with government counterparts and other stakeholders with excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Kiswahilli.
