Company wishes to strengthen its human resources base in order to position itself for future growth and expansion by recruiting qualified, self-driven and result oriented individuals to fill the following position:
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, key responsibilities will include, implementing preventive
maintenance activities and coordinating all electrical works
JOB PROFILE
•Plans, organize, coordinate and control electrical installations, machines servicing and repairs.
•Oversees preventive and periodic electrical maintenance of plant and facilities.
•Ensure training of Machine Operators and other affected staff on correct electrical handling of machines in order to achieve high levels of efficiency.
•Maintain records on machines and other electrical applications within the company and monitor their performance and take corrective action accordingly.
Maintain records related to cost and items used in electrical installations and servicing and ensure and ensure that they are efficiently used.
•Coordinate trouble shooting for suspected electrical malfunctioning of machinery and equipment in the organization.
•Record and maintain the electricity consumption rates by the company and advice the
Maintenance Manager accordingly.
•Advice the company on health and safety issues. relating to use of electricity and electrical appliances.
QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
•Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing industry
•Must be registered with Engineers Registration Board (ERB)
•Good knowledge of PLC
•Good knowledge of Computer.
