Accountant

Report : Head of Account Department

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
(a) Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
(b) Preparation of Bank Reconciliation.
(c) Preparation of payments to all suppliers and various statutory deductions.
(d) Payroll preparations.
(e) Reconciliation of VAT accounts.
(f) Preparation of Tax returns and timely submission to the relevant Authorities.
(h) Attend to any other duties arising within accounts department.

Qualification, Experience and preferred skills
(a) Possession of Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accountancy with good
pass mark (at least Upper Second Class.) from the recognized Universities,
(b) Registration with NBAA is a must.
(c) Computer literacy and Sound knowledge of Excel and Ms Words.
(d) At least 2 years experience in relevant field.
(e) Knowledge of Tally Accounting Software will be an added advantage.
(f) 'Women are encouraged to apply.

Terms of Employment: Open-Ended contract.
Duty Station: Konoike Tanzania Branch Office, Dar-es-Salaam.
