previously known as Karanga Leather Industries Company Limited is
established as a Joint Venture company between PSSSF and Tanzania
Prisons Service through its Company known as Prisons Corporation Sole.
The Company was established on 17th May 2017 to undertake development
and operate leather industries in Karanga area, Moshi Municipality.

JOB TITLE: PERSONAL SECRETARY 1 POSITION (RE-ADVERTISED)
REQUIRED ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
The Personal Secretary should be a holder of Form IV/VI certificate with passes in English and Kiswahili plus a Diploma in Secretarial Studies with 80 w.p.m. and a certificate of Management Development for Executive Assistant level 1 from a recognized institution with a minimum of 7 years working experience in the relevant field. Previous office administration experience preferably with a large and complex organization, self- motivated and detail oriented, demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills and proficient in Microsoft office, internet e-mail and Publisher.
a) Handles sensitive documents, maintains appropriate level of confidentiality,
b) Type all general correspondence and non-confidential matters i.e: letters, minutes, notices, bulletins, circulars and charts,
c) Handles office files, maintains filling system and records,
d) Attends telephone calls, responds to inquiries and takes messages,
e) Records incoming and outgoing files, letters and other correspondences,
f) Receives and directs visitors to respective offices,
g) Ensures the availability of office supplies, arranges meetings, coordinates travel as required,
h) Receives and distributes letters to respective officials,
i) Takes proper care of all facilities under his/her charge and makes sure that they are used for official purposes only,
j) Observes punctuality and cleanliness,
k) Performs any other duties as assigned by his/her supervisor and any reasonable support.
JOB TITLE: INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER 1 POSITION
REQUIRED ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
The Internal Audit Manager should be a holder of a Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Accounting with full CPA (T) ACCA, ACA or its equivalence with a minimum of 7 years working experience in Audit. Must be computer literate. Previous experience in industrial work environment is an added advantage.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a) Manage and controls the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, controls and regulations,
b) Determines internal audit scope and develop annual plans,
c) Provides information and advice to budget holders to facilitate the most efficient use of financial resources,
d) Obtain, analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc,
e) Prepares and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process,
f) Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement,
g) Identify loopholes and recommend risk management measures and cost savings,
h) Maintains open communication with management and audit and finance committee of the Board
i) Documents process and prepare audit findings memorandum,
j) Conducts follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions and engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
k) Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Management/Supervisor.
JOB TITLE: SECURITY OFFICER 1 POSITION
REQUIRED ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
The Security Officer should be a holder of a Bachelor Degree in IT Security or Computer Science, Laws or Public Administration or any relevant field from recognised University and must have attended JKT, Police, Prisons or Peoples Militia basic training with at least 5 years working experience in security field. Must have investigative, conflict resolution, interrogative, good public relations and ICT related skills. CCTV surveillance technique is an added advantage.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a) Ensures overall security within KLICL,
b) Ensures all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing buildings i.e. ID badges and passes,
c) Responsible for reporting occurrences, emergency situations and other matters relating to security to his/her supervisors,
d) Takes preventive measures against possible theft and insecurity,
e) Supervises and monitor the performance of contracted security company on daily basis,
f) Investigates cases and takes suspects to police station,
g) Reports on a daily basis the security status of the Company and advises on how to improve Company’s security,
h) Liaise with emergency services police, ambulance and fire services to resolve issues and maintain security and services,
i) Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the Management/Supervisor
