Job Role:
1. Be an active and supporting member of the school community to the best of your ability.
2. Promote sport as innovatively as possible, encouraging maximum participation and enthusiasm.
3. To deliver Physical Education, Games and After School Activities with a high regard for health and safety.
4. Keep a clear record of children’s progress in accordance with school and department policy.
5. Oversee the boys’ and girls’ games programme and create a broad and balance curriculum.
6. Organise and manage tournaments to be hosted inside and outside the Al Muntazir Schools.
7. Organise interschool sports and debate competition.
8. Liaise with the necessary parties to ensure catering and transport requirements are catered to.
9. Liaise with maintenance/ground staff to ensure facilities and utilized and they are in a safe working order
10. Attend tournaments, arranged sometimes at weekends, throughout the year.
11. Ensure all equipment is tidy and in safe working order.
12. Work as part of a team, with all other members of staff, helping to promote good working relationships.
13. To oversee the teaching of Sport throughout the school and the implementation of the curriculum
14. To co-ordinate the programme for Extra Curricular activities ensuring a wide range of quality and enjoyable activities are offered to pupils.
