St. Joseph Vocational Training Centre is among the most experienced vocational skills institution with over 60 years of providing vocational skills development. The centre is owned by the Ifakara Catholic Diocese located in Kilombero district in Ifakara Town Council.

The Centre is looking for creative, motivated, innovative and experienced welders and metal fabricators a artisans (2 positions) as technical auxiliaries (TAs) to the welding and fabrication department. The expected and ideal welders should be very innovative and creative to design and make various drawings and put them into reality of materials that can both stimulate innovation and creativity of students as well as improving the quality of products generated as result of providing training to students.

Application Instructions

The ideal applicant for this position must be very practical and be able to combine theoretical knowledge and practical together. She/he must be able to show all the works by examples and preferably the artisans will be given high priority to the positions. An artisan with level three qualification of VETA is required for this position who must have experience of more than 2 years of working either in the company or to individuals.
