One Acre Fund supplies smallholder farmers with the financing and
training they need to grow their way out of hunger and poverty. Instead
of giving handouts, we invest in farmers to generate a permanent gain in
farm income. We supply a complete service bundle of seeds and
fertilizer, financing, training, and market facilitation—and we deliver
these services within walking distance of the 400,000 rural farmers we
serve.
One Acre Fund is growing very first with key processes have been put in place to serve over 1,000,000+ smallholder farmers in 2020. The Internal Audit department has been mandated with the responsibility of reviewing this process to ensure seamless process flow and service delivery to the many smallholder farmers we serve.
Primary Responsibilities of the Tanzania Internal Audit Project Specialist will require:

Qualifications
We are seeking Tanzania Internal Audit Project Specialist with 3 years of work experience and ideally a demonstrated passion for international development. Candidates who fit the following criteria are strongly encouraged to apply:

- Participating in the Annual Internal Audit Plan preparation.
- Managing the Annual Internal Audit Plan execution which includes 6+month resource planning.
- Designing and executing audit tests in compliance with OAF Internal Audit Methodology.
- Preparing high quality audit reports on audit findings and recommendations for sharing with the department Management Team, OAF Country Leadership and Finance Committee.
- Preparing timely & high-quality Internal Audit deliverables as listed in the OAF Internal Audit Methodology using the existing/ approved templates.
- Following up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation of the corrective measures to mitigate identified risks.
- Coordinate/ Lead both departmental and auditee meetings- including Opening & Closing Meetings.

- Participating in the Annual Internal Audit Plan preparation.
- Managing internal audit team with at least 1 team member reporting directly to you. This includes the preparation of 2 biannual – Performance Review & Performance Development Plan..
- Design & implement quarterly training program for the internal audit team.
- Identify, document & discuss with your direct manager on a quarterly basis the IA process improvement areas.
- Execution of ad-hoc management request as delegated by your direct manager.
- Ability to self-reflect on your performance, identify and improve your own areas of development.

We are seeking Tanzania Internal Audit Project Specialist with 3 years of work experience and ideally a demonstrated passion for international development. Candidates who fit the following criteria are strongly encouraged to apply:
- 3 years working experience in internal / external audit with 1 year experience in Information System Audit in a manufacturing industry..
- Upper second class degree in a Business field (with a specialization in Accounting).
- Fully qualified accountant – CPA (III) or equivalent and /or Holder of Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
- Demonstrate ability to conduct process analysis to achieve effective and efficient end to end business processes.
- Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and prioritize effort and resources on high-value, high impact activities to achieve maximum performance and drive continuous organizational improvement.
- Ability to proactively build rapport and work with others (especially all levels of management) more effectively and maintain strong work relationships and networks.
