TITLE OF POSITION: Water Laboratory Technician (ONE POST)
Scope of the position and its expected outs:
The holder of this position carries out laboratory tests in the production section in accordance with set procedure and systems. The output of this position are the fore reflected in the quality of water produced.
Position relationships:
Key duties and Responsibilities
1. Oversees the operations of water treatment plant.
2. Carries out laboratory test in accordance with set systems and procedures
3. Prepares laboratory test reports in accordance with set standards;
4. Maintains data bases on laboratory tests.
5. Monitors trends in test results and advises the Engineer on all aspects tha might have an impact on the Engineer on all aspects that might have an impact on the quality of water produced;
6. Monitors the quality of raw water and treated water:
7. Monitors the quality of water chemicals and promptly advise the water production Engineer accordingly.
8. Prepares periodic reports outing the perforce of the laboratory
9. Comply with ISO requirements on the daily actives
10. Preforms such other related duties as may be assigned by the water production Engineer from time to time.
Person speciation:
1. Full Technical Certificate: Diploma in Water Laboratory
2. Computer literature
3. Experience of at least one yea working in a reputable business entity since graduation.
Remuneration:
All the posts carry attractive remuneration packages respectively, according to the Authority’s newly reviewed market focused pay scheme and other entitlements
