The Role:
Our client are poised and ready for growth and need a professional General Manager Hunter with a solid network to open more doors and take overall management of Arusha region to realize more potential business opportunities.
Based at our Client Head office in Arusha, this key position will see you playing an integral role in client business operation, management, strategy and subsequent business growth.
Reporting to the Group HRM & CEO, this diverse and challenging position will see you managing Arusha region overall operation, representing the Company brand in the market place, developing new relationships, responding to tenders, delivering presentations and nurturing prospective opportunities through negotiation stages and ultimately to the securing of new business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Increases management's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing growth opportunities.
• Ensure Maximum business growth for Arusha Branch.
• Shaping business working environment to ensure smooth working environment
• Develops strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; recommending objectives to the management.
• Accomplishes subsidiary objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections.
• Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field, and technical services policies and practices; coordinating actions with corporate staff.
• Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Crafting a strategic vision.
• Marshaling Company resources.
• Managing various HOD report and prepare final report for the management.
• Developing team Performers strategies to ensure personal & business growth
• Company Bodybuilding on regular basis.
• Many other duties as assigned & planned by management or own plan.
The Candidate Required:
? To be considered for this role you will demonstrate a proven track record in business & Company management role across the entire outsourced Fleet Management product range including; Fleet Management and potentially even GPS Tracking.
? Strategic and highly autonomous in your approach, you will enjoy qualifying and identifying business leads approach and your natural leadership and drive for management will see you not only achieve, but consistently exceed your agreed role.
? The ability to develop effective and enduring professional leadership is also paramount. You will demonstrate well developed team management, business management skills and a confident approach to dealing effectively with senior decision makers.
? Experience in managing tender responses, sales proposals and the ability to present to both existing and prospective clients is also required.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate needs to have the following experience:
• Similar Experience level for 6 years and above with reputable companies.
• Multi-tasking ability
• Must have managed contracts with large customers
• Experience in distribution of GPS fleet management products and services
• A sound understanding of business process & legislation.
• Exposure to the GPS fleet management products and services would be advantageou
