Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) was established under the Ports Act No. 17 of 2004. The Authority is vested with the obligation and responsibility of developing, managing and promoting the maritime sector in Tanzania mainland. '
The major role of TPA is to enhance the advantages of the geographical position of Tanzania's maritime resources.
In light of the above, TPA invites applications from suitably qualified and competent applicants to fill the following-vacant post.
POST: SENIOR MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS OFFICER (WORK SYSTEMS) - SALARY GRADE: TPGS 7,1 POST - (RE-ADVERTISED)
Key Responsibilities
1. To carry out specialist studies on work methods and procedures aimed at improving productivity and efficiency;
3. To design new forms which are used in the execution of the Authority's business processes and review existing ones where necessary;
3. To maintain a data base of furniture and equipment and their standards;
4. To update TPA's internal telephone directory whenever need arises/occurs, and
5. To perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience
A. Professional Qualifications:
(i) Certificate/Diploma of Management Services
B. Academic/Basic Qualifications:
(i) First degree in Business Public Administration or equivalent
(ii) Computer Literate ,
C. Working Experience:
(i) At least three years in related field
